NCAA Division I (D-I) is the highest level of College athletics, intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States, which accepts players globally. D-I schools include the major collegiate athletic powers, with large budgets, more elaborate facilities and more athletic scholarships than Divisions II and III as well as many smaller schools committed to the highest level of intercollegiate competition. Jacques Lamoureux
Jacques Lamoureux (born June 14, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey player who previously played for the Alaska Aces in the ECHL. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he is also a contracting officer in the United States Air Force previously assigned to the 673rd Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska Lamoureux is currently a major assigned as an instructor in the Department of Management at USAFA. Lamoureux is married with a stepson and daughter. Prior to turning professional, Lamoureux played four years of NCAA's Division I college hockey in the Atlantic Hockey conference playing with the Air Force Falcons. The Colgate Raiders men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Colgate University. The Raiders are a member of ECAC Hockey. They used to play at Starr Rink from its inauguration in 1959 until the 2015–16 season. The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Minnesota Duluth. The Bulldogs are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). The team plays home games at the 6,800-seat AMSOIL Arena at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
