Yanqing District (), formerly known as Yanqing County before 2015, is a District (China), district of the municipality of Beijing located northwest of the city proper of Beijing. Badaling Town
Badaling Town () is a town on the southwestern part of Yanqing District of Beijing. It borders Kangzhuang and Dayushu Towns to its north, Jingzhuang Town to its east, Nankou Town to its southeast, and Donghuayuan Town to its west. It was home to 10,024 people as of 2020. The name originates from Badaling, a famous section of the Great Wall of China that is located on the south of the town. Geography Badaling Town is at the foothill of Badaling site, with around 70% of the town being mountainous terrain. Beijing–Baotou railway, Badaling Expressway, National Highway 110 and Beijing–Lhasa Expressway all pass through parts of the town. Jiuxian, Beijing
Jiuxian Town (), is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It shares border with Houcheng Town in its north, Xiangying Township and Yongning Town in its east, Shenjiaying Town in its south, and Zhangshanying Town in its west. In 2020, it was home to 17,676 inhabitants. The name Jiuxian is referring to the town's past status as the county center of Yanqing. It used to be the county seat of Jinshan County (缙山, later renamed to Longqing County and then Yanqing County) until 1316. Geography Jiuxian Town is bounded by a collection of mountains along its northern boundary with Houcheng, Hebei. Bayu Road passes through the southeast of the town.
