Coahuila De Zaragoza
Coahuila (), formally Coahuila de Zaragoza (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Coahuila de Zaragoza ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Coahuila de Zaragoza), is one of the 32 states of Mexico. XHRCG-FM
XHRCG-FM is a radio station in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico broadcasting on 105.1 FM and carrying a Regional Mexican format known as RCG Radio. It is owned by Saltillo-based Grupo RCG; the group's two Ciudad Acuña radio stations, XHRCG and XHRG-FM 95.5 are operated by RCommunications. The US company is owned by Roberto G. González, the son of Roberto Casimiro González, founder of Grupo RCG. History The concession for the station was obtained in March 1959 for XEAE-AM 1600, changing calls to XERCG-AM in the 1990s. History XHMS, the first FM radio station in Coahuila, was approved to begin operations on December 8, 1965, received its concession on April 15, 1966, and signed on May 5 of that year. Named for founder Melchor Sánchez Dovalina, XHMS started on 99.3 MHz with a power of 250 watts, later increased to 310. In the 1980s, XHMS moved to 99.5 and increased its power to 1.9 kW. XHEPQ-FM is a radio station on 106.7 FM serving the Región Carbonífera of north-central Coahuila. It is owned by Grupo M and is known as La Sabrosita with a grupera format. History XEPQ-AM received its concession on December 2, 1963. Owned by Luis Isaac Elias, XEPQ broadcast from Múzquiz on 1250 kHz. Within several years, XEPQ had moved to 710.
