Rouvroy, Belgium
Rouvroy (; Gaumais : ''Rouvrou''; wa, Rovroe-e-Gåme) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. On 1 January 2007 the municipality, which covers 27.68 km2, had 2,007 inhabitants, giving a population density of 72.5 inhabitants per km2. Wallonia and Belgium's southernmost point is situated in the municipality, at Torgny. The agency responsible for keeping and updating inventories of immovable heritage is dependent on the region, as is the name for the object, which is called Beschermd erfgoed, Biens classés or Kulturdenkmal depending on the language of the municipality of the location. Three National heritage organizations In 1835 the ''Commission royale des monuments et des sites'' (Royal committee for monuments and sites) was created to advise the government on conservation and historic preservation.
