Southern Broadcasting Network, Inc. (SBN) is a Filipino-owned media company based radio and television network based in Metro Manila. SBN is a subsidiary of Solar Entertainment Corporation, a Filipino-owned television company managed by the Tieng family. ''Etcetera'' (stylized as etcetera since 2014) is a Philippine lifestyle and magazine show produced by Solar Entertainment Corporation and broadcast by ETC from October 23, 2011, to December 3, 2015. Background Grandidge and Jones era (2011–2013) The show was launched on October 23, 2011, on ETC, then airing via RPN Channel 9, as a result of Solar Entertainment Corporation's launching ETC Productions. Originally airing as a 15-minute capsule-based program, it expanded to a full 30-minute program during its third season in 2013. It was hosted by model and lifestyle blogger Patti Grandidge with Kim Jones as roving reporter. On November 30, 2013, ETC switched its affiliation to SBN Channel 21 and the program was continued to air with the channel. ''Age of Love'' is an American reality TV dating series that ran for one season in Summer 2007. The show featured 30-year-old Australian tennis star Mark Philippoussis as he looked for love among a group of women ranging in age from their early 20s to their late 40s. Hosted by Mark Consuelos, the series aired on NBC, premiered on Monday, June 18, 2007. The last episode aired on August 6, 2007, in which 25-year-old Amanda Salinas was chosen as the winner. Format The contestants were divided in two age groups. The "kittens" were the women in their 20s, while the "cougars" were the women in their late 30s to late 40s. Each week Philippoussis would accompany one or two of the women on a private date, and at the end of each episode would ask all but one of the women if they would continue to see him. About

The idea for a 24/7 shopping channel in the Philippines was not as ubiquitous as it is today. It all began when a family of entrepreneurs decided to take a risk in October 2003, and introduced the concept of home shopping networks to the Philippine market. Initially, ShopTV of Home Shopping Network aired for 12 hours daily starting last November 2005. It expanded its coverage to 24/7 airing by August 2006.
