Channel 2 (Israel)
Channel 2 ( he, ערוץ שתיים, Arutz Shtaim), also called "The Second Channel" ( he, הערוץ השני, HaArutz HaSheni) was an Israeli commercial television channel. It started doing experimental broadcasts funded by the television tax. The channel started commercial broadcasting on 4 November 1993 regulated and managed by The Second Authority for Television and Radio. In its first years, the channel was operated by three broadcasters (" Keshet", "Reshet", and "Telad"), and in 2005 only two broadcasters were left while "Telad" stopped broadcasting due to its loss in the Second Authority's auction. On 31 October 2017, 24 years after the Channel started broadcasting, it got closed and split into two new channels: Keshet 12 and Reshet 13. Channel 10 (Israel)
Channel 10 ( he, ערוץ עשר, translit=Arutz Eser), formerly known as Israel 10 ( he, ישראל 10, translit=Yisra'el Eser), was an Israeli free-to-air television channel. Operating under the auspices of The Second Authority for Television and Radio, Channel 10 was one of three commercial television channels in Israel (others being Keshet 12 and Reshet 13), enjoying an average audience rating of 6.5% in 2011 within its main news program. Despite the name, the channel was actually broadcast on channel 14 from 1 November 2017 until its closure on 16 January 2019. Channel 10 underwent a merger with rival network Reshet 13 (of Reshet), and this channel ceased transmissions on 16 January 2019. Some programs from Channel 10 moved over to Reshet 13. ''Gav Ha'Uma'' (formerly ''Matzav Ha'Uma'') was an Israeli satire show hosted by Lior Schleien, Orna Banai, Guri Alfi and as of the fourth season also Einav Galili. The show was broadcast from January 4, 2010 until January 15, 2015 on Channel 2 (Reshet) as ''Matzav Ha'Uma'' ("מצב האומה", "The state of the nation") and from February 3, 2015 on Channel 10 as ''Gav Ha'Uma'' ("גב האומה", "The back of the nation").
