A list of the best Bosnian First Tier goalscorers from 1995 (as the First League) to the present day (as the Premier League). Nemanja Bilbija holds the record for most scored goals in a season, 33, scored in the 2021–22 season while playing for Zrinjski Mostar. Mersudin Ahmetović has scored the fewest goals as top goalscorer, only 13, scoring them in the 2019–20 season while a part of Sarajevo. Only three times in the league's history has it happened that there were joint-top goalscorers. The first time being in the 1997–98 season, and the other two times in the 1999–2000 and 2006–07 seasons. The First League of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( bs, Prva liga Bosne i Hercegovine / Прва лига Босне и Херцеговине) operated by the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (abbreviation: ''N/FSBiH'') was the top tier football league in Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and after signage of ''Dayton Peace Agreement'' of Bosnia and Herzegovina, until creation of Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2000 (formal unification of the country's football organizations as N/FSBiH happened in 1997). League changed format and name several times since its inception and the first 1994–95 season. Nogometni klub Čelik Zenica ( en, Football Club Čelik Zenica) is a professional football club based in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name ''Čelik'' means ''Steel'' in Bosnian and it symbolizes the strength and power of the club in an industrial city well-known for steel production. Throughout its history, the club has been known for the excellent support of its fans at its Bilino Polje stadium which hosts the Bosnian national team. Alen Škoro
Alen Škoro (born 30 March 1981) is a Bosnian football manager and former professional player. At international level, he made four appearances for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He was named manager of second tier Bosna Sema in June 2016. Club career Škoro came through the youth set up at FK Sarajevo. He joined French giants Olympique Marseille aged 20, but had to retire at 32 due to persistent knee injuries after a career which took him to Switzerland, Austria and Mexico. He played two matches for Klagenfurt in the Austrian Regionalliga in 2012 and his last club was Olimpik, whom he joined in summer 2012. Emir Obuća (born 11 December 1978) is a Bosnian football manager and former player who is currently working as an assistant manager at Bosnian Premier League club Sarajevo. Playing career Obuća had several spells with hometown club Sarajevo, winning one league title and four domestic cups with them. He scored 89 goals in 205 games for the club. Managerial career On 20 October 2022, Obuća was named as Sarajevo's caretaker manager, following Feđa Dudić's resignation. The 2002–03 Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the third season since its establishment and distinguishes itself from previous seasons by having expanded the country-wide league to include the clubs from Republika Srpska in the competition. This season began on 3 August 2002 and ended on 24 May 2003. The league was won by FK Leotar after a dramatic last round where they defeated away team Rudar Ugljevik (2–1). Dželaludin Muharemović
Dželaludin Muharemović (born 23 March 1970) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. Club career As a kid, Muharemović started playing football for his hometown club Željezničar. He was considered to be one of the biggest prospects in the club and when he had reached the senior squad, he was sent on loan to UNIS Vogošća. In 1992, war in Bosnia and Herzegovina began and every football activity was stopped. However, the club was reestablished soon and Muharemović played in the first Bosnian championship in 1994. After that, he moved to Croatian side Zagreb. One year later, he returned to Željezničar and in a course of ten seasons he played more than 300 official games for the club, scoring 127 goals. Fudbalski klub Velež Mostar ( sh-Cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Beлеж Мостар; English: Football club Velež Mostar) is a professional football club based in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club has a history of being one of the most successful clubs from Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded on 26 June 1922. The club currently plays at Rođeni Stadium (7,000 capacity), but its historic stadium is the Bijeli Brijeg (9,000 capacity). Due to the divisions between Bosniak and Croat territories, Velež lost its previous home ground of Bijeli Brijeg. That stadium was largely used by Velež during the glory days of the club, when they triumphed in the 1981 and 1986 Yugoslav Cups. NK Đerzelez was a Bosnian football club from Sarajevo during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and in more recent times, Zenica. History The football club was formed in 1912 as Đerzelez Sarajevo. Đerzelez (also known as ''Sarajevski''), was one of the first soccer teams ever to exist in Sarajevo, and indeed entire Bosnia and Herzegovina region, along with FK Osman, SAŠK, who were considered a powerhouse team back then, Slavija and Makabi Sarajevo (also known as ''Barkohba''). The club reformed in nineties after the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
