''Khwahish'' () is a 2003 Indian Hindi romance film presented by Akbar Arabiyan (Mojdeh and Mojtaba Movies) and directed by Govind Menon. The film stars Himanshu Malik and Mallika Sherawat. Plot Amar is a rich and stubborn man. He meets Lekha in a shop. While Lekha is poor (the daughter of a poultry farmer), she is a happy, frank, and straightforward girl. When Amar and Lekha study in college, they spend time together and finally fall in love. After the exams, Amar cannot take the separation and proposes to her. Her father Ulhas befriends Amar and accepts the marriage. However, Amar's wealthy politician father does not, as he cannot reconcile to the difference in status. Saleem Sheikh
Saleem Sheikh ( ur, ) (also spelled Saleem Shaikh) is a Pakistani film and television actor. He made his on-screen debut from PTV's ''Shama'' where he portrayed the younger version of Jawed Sheikh's character. He then appeared as child artist in PTV's children plays. He is best known for portraying GC Safeer in Shoaib Mansoor's military drama '' Sunehray Din''. Sheikh made his film debut in 1992 with ''Mohabbat Ke Saudagar''. His career saw a resurgence in 2010 when he played Abdul Hameed "Midu" in ''Anokha Ladla'' and in its sequels in the following years. Syed Noor (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ) (born Syed Ghulam Mohyuddin Noor) is a Pakistani film director based in Lahore. In 1970 Syed Noor joined the Pakistani film industry as an assistant to director S. Suleman. Noor assisted S. Suleman for 18 feature films, after which, he penned his first script for the film, "Society Girl" in 1976, which was considered the best film of the year. After the success of his first film, Noor became the prime screenwriting talent in the Pakistani film industry and worked with all the prominent directors of the time. Syed Noor wrote about 250 films from 1976 to 1992. His written scripts and screenplays were both in Urdu and in Punjabi.
