Top 100 Mexico is a record chart published weekly by AMPROFON (Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas), a non-profit organization composed by Mexican and multinational record companies. This association tracks record sales (physical and digital) in Mexico. Since May 2013, some positions of the chart are published in the official Twitter account of AMPROFON including the number one position. Top 100 Mexico
Top 100 México is a record chart which accounts for sixty percent of the albums sold in Mexico. The chart has the support of major record distributors in Mexico and is issued by the Mexican Association of Producers of Phonograms and Videograms, A.C.(Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas) since 2005 on a weekly basis. The Top 100 México contains over 100 titles sold in the country, with separate charts that include 20 albums for popular music genres, such as norteño, banda and ranchera, Spanish, and English language albums. In 2005, the best-selling album in Mexico was the soundtrack for the TV series ''Rebelde'', recorded by the lead cast members, who eventually formed the band RBD; in the United States the album sold 416,000 copies and was named the Pop Album of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Jeans (band)
JNS (previously known as the Jeans) is a Mexican girl group that rose to fame in late 1996 and 1997 and continued until 2008. In 2015, the band reunited and got back together and went on tour. In 2017, they released their seventh studio album, titled ''Metamorfosis''. Initially created in 1994 by band member Patricia Sirvent with five members, after one of them dropped out of the project before the first album was recorded in 1996, the group remained as a four-piece until 2007 when it changed into a three-piece after changes in each of their albums, one of these included Dulce María (from 2000-2002), who would later become part of the successful Mexican pop group RBD. Kabah (band)
Kabah is a Mexican group based in Mexico City. It was formed in 1992 and disbanded in 2005. In 2015, they reunited and went on tour with OV7 titled "Ov7 Kabah Tour." They were named after the Maya archeological site.
