2018 Eliteserien
The 2018 Eliteserien was the 74th completed season of top-tier football in Norway. This was second season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season began on 11 March and ended 24 November 2018, not including play-off matches. Fixtures for the 2018 season were announced on 19 December 2017. Rosenborg were the defending champions, while Bodø/Glimt, Start and Ranheim entered as the promoted teams from the 2017 1. divisjon. Rosenborg won their fourth consecutive title, their 26th top-flight title overall, with one match to spare following a 1–0 away win against Start on 11 November 2018. Erlend Dahl Reitan
Erlend Dahl Reitan (born 11 September 1997) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Rosenborg. Club career Rosenborg Reitan is an academy graduate of Rosenborg. During his development with the club's junior sides he was deployed mainly as a winger before being converted to the right-back position following his promotion to the senior side. He made his non-competitive debut for Rosenborg on 27 March 2015 in a friendly match against Kristiansund, before making his competitive debut the following year, starting in a 5-1 win over Byåsen in the NM Cup on 27 April 2016. Having made a handful of cup appearances for the senior team, Reitan returned to the youth side and was part of the squad which beat Verdal 12-0 in a Championship match in June, scoring the second goal of the match in the process. Steffen Lie Skålevik
Steffen Lie Skålevik (born 31 January 1993) is a Norwegian football player who currently plays for Åsane. He is also known as «Skårevik». Career Early years Lie Skålevik grew up in Sotra outside of Bergen and climbed up the ranks of his local club, Sotra SK, before he was picked up by SK Brann's youth academy in 2012, 19 years old. He played 36 games and scored 13 goals for SK Brann 2 in the Norwegian 2. divisjon (third tier) before leaving to Nest-Sotra in the same division. Nest-Sotra Lie Skålevik became an important player for the Nest-Sotra side who went on to win their division and a promotion to the Norwegian First Division. The following season in 2014 he kept impressing and played an important role in avoiding relegation, scoring 12 goals in 29 games. Sogndal Fotball
Sogndal Fotball is the association football department of Norwegian sports club Sogndal IL from Sogndal in Vestland. The club was founded in 1926. The men's team currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club's home matches are played at the 5,622 capacity Fosshaugane Campus. Taijo Teniste (born 31 January 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Estonian Meistriliiga club Tartu Tammeka and the Estonia national team. SK Brann
Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen. Brann had been in the Eliteserien, Norway's Premier Division of Football, since 1987, bar one season spent in the 1. divisjon in 2015, but they were relegated again in 2021. Samuel Şahin-Radlinger (born 7 November 1992) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Austrian Football Bundesliga club SV Ried. Alta IF
Alta Idrettsforening is a sports club from Alta, Norway. The club is most known for its association football department, which played in the 1. divisjon until 2014. Alta currently plays in 2. divisjon, the third tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was newly promoted for the 2008 season; its last stint up to that time in the division came in 2005, when they finished last. The team finished 14th in the 2009 season.
