''Vi som går kjøkkenveien'' (We Who Enter Through the Kitchen) is a Norwegian comedy film from 1933. The film was a joint production between the Norwegian and Swedish film industries, and it was shot in parallel with a Swedish version titled '' Vi som går köksvägen''. Both versions of the film were directed by Tancred Ibsen and Gustaf Molander. The lead roles in the Norwegian version were played by Theodor Berge and Randi Brænne, whereas the Swedish version starred Carl Barcklind, Tutta Berntzen, and Bengt Djurberg. The indoor scenes in the film were shot at Filmstaden in Råsunda. The outdoor scenes were shot in Tollare and Saxtorp, southeast of Landskrona. The Swedish version of the film was released in 1932. The Norwegian version had its premiere at Konsertpalæet in Bergen on February 3, 1933. The film's Oslo premiere took place on February 20, 1933. Harry Ivarson
Harry Ivarson (September 7, 1892 – 1967) was a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. Ivarson was born in Chicago, the son of the actor William Ivarson and actress Anna Ivarson. In addition to Harry, the couple had a son Wictor (born in 1893) and a daughter Borghild (born in 1895). In 1910 the family lived in Årstad. Ivarson studied film in the United States and Germany. He debuted as a director and screenwriter in Germany in 1923 with the film ''Wenn Männer richten'' under the pseudonym Harry Williams. He continued his career in Norway with the films '' Til sæters'' (1924), '' Fager er lien'' (1925), '' Simen Mustrøens besynderlige opplevelser'' (1926), '' Madame besøker Oslo'' (1927), and ''Den glade enke i Trangvik'' (1927), which was his last silent film. ''Jeppe on the Hill; Or, The Transformed Peasant'' ( da, Jeppe på bjerget) is a Danish comedy by the Norwegian playwright Ludvig Holberg, written during the time of the Dano-Norwegian dual monarchy. The play premiered at the Lille Grønnegade Theatre in 1722, and was first published in print in 1723. The play has a special status in Danish theater, and playing the lead role, Jeppe, is seen as a great distinction. Because this, it was entered into the Danish Culture Canon in 2006. Despite its fame in Denmark, it is not well known in the English-speaking world. In the play, Jeppe is a drunkard peasant who is abused by his wife, Nille. Gustaf Harald August Molander (18 November 1888 – 19 June 1973) was a Sweden, Swedish actor and film director. His parents were director Harald Molander, Sr. (1858–1900) and singer and actress Lydia Molander, ''née'' Wessler, and his brother was the director Olof Molander (1892–1966). He was the father of director and producer Harald Molander from his first marriage to actress Karin Molander and father to actor Jan Molander from his second marriage to Elsa Fahlberg (1892–1977). Gustaf Molander was born in Helsinki, Helsingfors (now Helsinki) in the Grand Duchy of Finland (in the Russian Empire), where his father was working at the Swedish Theatre.
