Dagogo Diminas
Diminas Dagogo is a film director from Rivers State, Nigeria best known for his makeup and special effects work on Nollywood films. He has received two Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA nominations for his work on ''Stigma (2013 film), Stigma'' (2013), which starred Hilda Dokubo. Dagogo is an alumnus of the University of Port Harcourt and lives currently in Berlin/Germany. Mahmood Ali-Balogun
Mahmood Ali-Balogun is a Nigerian filmmaker, cultural worker and the managing director of Brickwall Communications Limited. He directed the multiple award-winning film ' Tango With Me'. He is the Chairman of the Audio Visual Rights Society (AVRS) of Nigeria (2). Early life and career Mahmood Ali-Balogun was born on July 19, 1959 and grew up in Northern Nigeria. He is an Alumnus of University of Ife, now the Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied Dramatic Arts specialized in film and television production. Mahmood's career has evolved over the years from being an actor, to director, producer, industry leader, film consultant and ambassador in the Film making industry. Gloria Bamiloye
Gloria Olusola Bamiloye is a Nigerian dramatist, film actress, producer and director. She is a co-founder of Mount Zion Drama Ministry. Early life She was born on the 4th of February, 1964 in Ilesa, a city in Osun State, southwestern Nigeria. Gloria was raised a Muslim, but converted to Christianity. She studied English language and religious studies at Oyo State College of Education in Ilesha. She continued her education and received teacher preparation at the Divisional Teachers Training College in Ipetumodu. Career She met Mike Bamiloye in 1983 and eventually married him. Together, they co-founded the Mount Zion Faith Ministry on August 5, 1985. She has starred in, directed and produced several Christian Nigerian movies and dramas. Ola Balogun
Ola Balogun (born 1 August 1945) is a Nigerian filmmaker and scriptwriter. He also ventured into the Nigerian music industry in 2001. Balogun, who has been making films for more than three decades, is part of the first generation of Nigerian filmmakers. Balogun studied cinematography at Institut des hautes études cinématographiques. Years after his graduation, he wrote his doctorate thesis on documentary films. On returning to Nigeria in 1968, he joined the staff of the Nigerian Film Unit, which was under the administration of the Ministry of Information, and later worked at the National Museum and Obafemi Awolowo University. Ishaya Bako (born 30 December 1986) is a Nigerian film director and screenwriter. Early life He was born in Kaduna, where he lived all his life and later moved to London, where he studied at the London Film School. Career After attending the London Film School, Bako went on to script and direct the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA)-winning '' Braids on a Bald Head''. Ejike Asiegbu is a Nigerian film actor and film director who once served as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. He was also previously appointed as personal assistant to former Biafran leader Odumegwu Ojukwu during the 1994 National Constitutional Conference in Abuja. Bolaji Amusan (born 15 October 1966), known by his comic persona Mr Latin, is a Nigerian comic actor, filmmaker, director and producer. Since 2018 he has been president of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria. Early life and career Amusan was born at Gbongan, the headquarters of Aiyedaade Local Government Area in Osun State, southwestern Nigeria.
