This is a List of natural monuments of Georgia. As of January 1, 2020, there are 40 Natural Monuments comprising caves, landforms, waterfalls and remarkable old trees. Total number of protected areas in Georgia — 89.Georgia, Europe

Natural Monument
A natural monument is a natural or natural/cultural feature of outstanding or unique value because of its inherent rarity, representative of aesthetic qualities or cultural significance. Under World Commission on Protected Areas guidelines, natural monuments are level III, described as: :"Areas are set aside to protect a specific natural monument, which can be a landform, sea mount, submarine cavern, geological feature such as a cave or even a living feature such as an ancient grove. They are generally quite small protected areas and often have high visitor value." This is a lower level of protection than level II (national parks) and level I (wilderness areas). The European Environment Agency's guidelines for selection of a natural monument are: * The area should contain one or more features of outstanding significance. Jortsku Cave Natural Monument
Jortsku Cave Natural Monument ( ka, ჯორწყუს მღვიმე) is a karst cave located 5.5 km to the north of village Second Balda in Martvili Municipality in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia, 653 meters above sea level. Cave is on the left bank of Jortsku river, the tributary of Abasha river. Morphology Jortsku Cave has two storey and maximum length of 276 m. Large entrance hallway leads to a meandering corridor, 3-5 m high and 4-5 m wide. Near the cave entrance ceiling collapsed in the past. Further inside, about 100 meters from the entrance, two branches emerges, one of which opens to the second floor with 30 m long hall. Stalactites are predominant feature of Jortsku Cave, but a few stalagmites also can be seen. 3.5 to 4 m thick plastic clay is in abundance in the cave hall. Okatse Canyon Natural Monument ( ka, ოკაცეს კანიონი) is an Okatse river erosion canyon located in Khoni Municipality, Imereti region of Georgia near village Zeda Gordi at 520 meters above sea level. Morphology Okatse Canyon Natural Monument is a 2 kilometers segment of a 14 kilometers long Okatse River. Erosion of river valley created a 3–6 meters wide canyon, in some places 15–20 meters wide. The canyon depth varies from 20 to 100 meters. Canyon has several waterfalls including Kinchkha Waterfall Natural Monument and several tiny lakes, one of them, ''Oskapo'' is 60 meters long. In some places the canyon walls almost merge and produce natural caverns, one of them named ''Boga'', from which the canyon bottom can be seen. Kinchkha Waterfall Natural Monument
Kinchkha Waterfall Natural Monument ( ka, კინჩხის ჩანჩქერი) is a cascade waterfall in Khoni Municipality, Imereti region of Georgia near village Kinchkha in the river gorge of Okatse (Satsikvilo) at 843 meters above sea level. Kinchkha Waterfall has three steps in the chalkstone slopes: the upper step with 25m height drop, the main waterfall with 70 meter height drop and the third one with 20 meters high drop, which has additional water supply from the small streams. The main waterfall created huge siphons in a flatland. It is possible to visit Kinchka waterfall and nearby Lomina waterfall by marked trails, however typical tourist infrastructure is not arranged.Okatse Waterfall

Nazodelavo Cave Natural Monument
Nazodelavo Cave Natural Monument ( ka, ნაზოდელავოს მღვიმე) is a karst cave 6.8 km to the north from village Akhuti in Chkhorotsqu Municipality in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia. Cave is located on the left bank of river Zana ( Khobi river tributary), 290 meters above sea level. Nazodelavo means the dwelling of Zodelavos. According to cave narratives, it was used as a means of defense in the middle ages. Morphology Nazodelavo karst cave formed in a conglomerates of the Neogene geologic period in Odishi plain karst massif. Cave is 600 m long with main tunnel average width of 4 m and height 3 m. The two main outlets are narrower and shorter than the main cave tunnel. A cold underground river with clear water flows through an erosion canyon in cave floor. Navenakhevi Cave Natural Monument
Navenakhevi Cave Natural Monument ( ka, ნავენახევის მღვიმე) is a karst cave near village Navenakhevi in Terjola Municipality in Imereti region of Western Georgia, 235 m above sea level. In 2017 cave was refurbished to be used as a tourist attraction. Morphology Cave carved in ''Okriba karst massif'' Cretaceous limestone has two floors and four big halls with total height of 250 m. The entrance with height - 0.6 m and width 2 m opens at the bottom of the hardened cavern. Cave is divided into two parts in 30 meters from the entrance. The second floor is connected to the main hall with small steps. A large hall on the second floor is 15 m high. Cave is naturally decorated with stalagmites and stalactites of various shapes. Abundant material of rubble, clay slabs are present throughout the cave and it branch-bony formations are well preserved. At exit cave is stuck with a stalactite with thickness of 7 meters.

Nagarevi Cave Natural Monument
Nagarevi Cave Natural Monument ( ka, ნაგარევის მღვიმის ბუნების ძეგლი) is a karst cave located near village Godogani, Terjola Municipality in Imereti region of Georgia, 199 meters above sea level. It is located on the left slope of the scenic Cheshura Gorge across the river from monastery. Morphology Nagarevi Cave formed in Cretaceous limestones in Okriba karst massif. Cave total length is 140 m. From entrance main pathway descends spirally downstream and forms a narrow tunnel. The front part of the cave has two storeys layout. Further down cave has several narrow branches and small halls. There are fragments of terraces. Cave speleothems are poorly developed. Small stream at the junction of the cave branches is always present. During the rains it is completely filled with water. Motena Cave Natural Monument ( ka, მოთენას მღვიმე) is a karst cave located 0.7 km to the south from village First Balda (Pirveli Baldi ) in Martvili Municipality in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia, 437 meters above sea level. Cave is located on left bank of Abasha river. In Middle Ages Motena cave was integral part of the now lost fortress. Morphology Motena Cave is a karst cave, formed in Askhi karst massif. The total length of the cave is 75 m. It has two storey with big hall on each connected by a narrow passage. The first hall is 30 m in length and 24–25 m in height. Cave is naturally decorated with many stalactites, stalagmites, travertine cascades and cave curtains. Melouri Cave Natural Monument ( ka, მელოურის მღვიმე) is a karst cave located near village Melouri (8 km from village Kumistavi) in Tsqaltubo Municipality in Imereti region of Georgia, 418 meters above sea level. Melouri Cave is one of the largest caves in Georgia. It is part of extensive ''Tsqaltubo Cave system'' which also includes nearby cave Didghele. Morphology Melouri cave has overall length of at least 15 km and boasts two naturally formed canyons with beautiful underground waterfalls. Cave carved in ''Sataphlia-Tskaltubo karst massif'' The entrance to the cave is at the bottom of the 8-10 meters deep ditch.
