Al Eberhard
Allen Dean Eberhard (born May 10, 1952) is an American retired professional basketball player. Amateur career Out of rural Springville, Iowa and Springville High School, Eberhard was third team All-State in his senior year, graduating in 1970. His high school coach had contacts with Norm Stewart, coach of the Missouri Tigers, who had previously led the Northern Iowa program, and Eberhard would sign with the Tigers. Sitting out his freshman season as required by NCAA rules at the time, the adjustment from a high school class of 41 students to the Missouri campus was an adjustment. Eberhard said, "I remember the first day I walked on campus with 22,000 students and I wasn't sure what I was doing. I wondered if I made the right decision. Bill Edwards (basketball)
William Allen Edwards (born August 28, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a 2.03 m (6'8") tall small forward-power forward. His nickname was "Dollar Bill Edwards". College career Edwards played college basketball at Wright State University, where he became one of the school's legends. He was voted the Summit League Player of the Year in 1993. Professional career Edwards was never drafted by an NBA franchise, and despite having played a few games with the Philadelphia 76ers during the 1993–94 season, it was in Europe that he had a significant 12-year career. He played in the EuroLeague with the Greek club PAOK, in the 1999–00 season, and in the FIBA SuproLeague, with the French club ASVEL, in the 2000–01 season. Anthony DeVante Edwards (born August 5, 2001), nicknamed "Ant-Man", is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A shooting guard, he played college basketball for the Georgia Bulldogs. Edwards finished his high school career at Holy Spirit Preparatory School in his hometown of Atlanta, where he was rated a consensus five-star recruit and one of the best players in the 2019 class by major recruiting services. As a senior, he earned McDonald's All-American and ''USA Today'' All-USA first team honors. Tyus Dwayne Edney Sr. (born February 14, 1973) is an American basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the San Diego Toreros men's team of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Listed at , he played point guard. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins from 1991 to 1995, leading them to the 1995 NCAA national championship. His game-winning shot for UCLA, in the second round of the 1995 NCAA Tournament, is considered to be one of the most famous plays in NCAA Tournament history. Kenton Edelin
Kenton Scott Edelin (May 24, 1962 – December 24, 2022) was an American basketball player and attorney. He played one season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Edelin attended the University of Virginia, where he was not offered a basketball scholarship, instead playing his freshman year for the Cavaliers' junior varsity team. After growing two inches in his sophomore season, Edelin made the varsity team where as a senior he helped the team reach the 1984 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, 1984 Final Four. For his college career, Edelin averaged 3.3 Points per game, points and 4.6 rebounds per game. After graduating from Virginia, Edelin was drafted in the seventh round (140th pick overall) of the 1984 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers. Dwight Eddleman
Thomas Dwight "Dike" Eddleman (December 27, 1922 – August 1, 2001) was an American athlete who was generally considered the greatest athlete in the history of athletics at the University of Illinois. Eddleman participated on the university's basketball, track and field, and football teams between the years of 1942 and 1949. Eddleman earned a combined 11 varsity letters in his career at the university, during which he also became a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Eddleman was born in Centralia, Illinois, and attended Centralia High School. On October 24, 2008, Eddleman was named a Distinguished Alumni of Centralia High school. Jarell Alexander Eddie (born October 30, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for AYOS Konyaspor of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for Virginia Tech before splitting the first four years of his professional career in the NBA and NBA G League. Since 2018, Eddie has played in Europe.
