Montreal ( ; officially Montréal, ) is the List of the largest municipalities in Canada by population, second-most populous city in Canada and List of towns in Quebec, most populous city in the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of Quebec. Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue () is an Greater Montreal, on-island suburb located at the western tip of the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is the second oldest community in Montreal's West Island, having been founded as a parish in 1703. The oldest, Dorval, was founded in 1667. Points of interest include the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal (a List of national historic sites of Canada, National Historic Site of Canada), the Sainte-Anne Veterans' Hospital, the Morgan Arboretum, and the L'Anse-à-l'Orme Nature Park. Ahuntsic-Cartierville ( (local accent)) is a borough (''arrondissement'') of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The borough was created following the 2002 municipal reorganization of Montreal. It comprises two main neighbourhoods, Ahuntsic, a former village annexed to Montreal in 1910 and Cartierville, a town annexed to Montreal in 1916. Centre D'histoire De Montréal
The Centre d'histoire de Montréal is a museum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located at 335 Place d'Youville in Old Montreal, in the borough of Ville-Marie. The museum is dedicated to the history of Montreal. History The centre is housed in a former central fire station, built on Place d'Youville from 1903 to 1904. Its architects, Joseph Perrault and Simon Lesage, were inspired by several architectural styles to give it a Flemish character, which was unique in Montreal at the time. Its facade consists of buff sandstone, red brick, a mansard roof with skylight, and a square tower crowned with a hip roof. It opened in 1904 as Montreal's Central Fire Station, and had both horses and steam pumps. In 1908, the station became a mere neighborhood station and the horses were replaced by motor vehicles 1931. Côte-des-Neiges (, ) is a neighbourhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located at the geographic centre of the Island of Montreal on the western slope of Mount Royal and is part of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
