The Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) was established in 1967 as an international body linking the activities of National MS societies around the world. The Federation seeks to work in worldwide partnership with Member Societies and the international scientific community to eliminate multiple sclerosis and its consequences, and to speak out globally on behalf of those affected by multiple sclerosis. Fly for MS is a New York City-based non-profit organization started by pilots taking a novel approach to dealing with multiple sclerosis, offering flights in small aircraft to mobility-impaired patients, some of whom have never been in an aircraft, and stimulating media coverage. Its slogan is "We Give Wings to Those Who Cannot Walk". Thus far, the flight programs have been conducted in 2010 and 2015 across locations in the Western Hemisphere. MS Focus: The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, also known as the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or just MS Focus, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization benefiting people with multiple sclerosis and their families.
