The Minister of Justice and Security ( nl, Minister van Justitie en Veiligheid) is the head of the Ministry of Justice and Security and a member of the Cabinet and the Council of Ministers. Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius
Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius (born 18 June 1977) is a Dutch politician who has served as Minister of Justice and Security in the Fourth Rutte cabinet since 10 January 2022. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), she previously served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021 and State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Climate Policy from 2021 until 2022. Early life Yeşilgöz-Zegerius was born in Ankara, Turkey, and emigrated to the Netherlands as a child. Her family is from a Turkish-Kurdish background and originally from Tunceli. Political career From 2014 to 2017, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius held a seat in the municipal council of Amsterdam. Louis Napoléon Bonaparte (born Luigi Buonaparte; 2 September 1778 – 25 July 1846) was a younger brother of Napoleon I, Emperor of the French. He was a monarch in his own right from 1806 to 1810, ruling over the Kingdom of Holland (a French client state roughly corresponding to the current Netherlands). Rutger Jan Schimmelpenninck (31 October 1761 – 15 February 1825), Lord of Nyenhuis, Peckedam and Gellicum, was a Dutch jurist, ambassador and politician who served as Grand Pensionary of the Batavian Republic from 1805 to 1806. Education Schimmelpenninck was born into a bastard branch of the noble family Schimmelpenninck (family), Schimmelpenninck van der Oye in Deventer, Lordship of Overijssel, Overijssel on 31 October 1761. Johan Frederik Rudolph "Jan" van Hooff (26 August 1755 – 13 June 1816, in Utrecht) was a Dutch Patriot politician and statesman. Biography Van Hooff was born in Eindhoven in 1755, to Martinus van Hooff ( co-mayor of the town) and Anna Elisabeth Bols van Arendonck. He studied law, got his doctorate in law at Nancy and opened a law practice in Eindhoven. He was elected co-mayor of the town in 1786. During his career he was mayor of Eindhoven, member of the First National Assembly, the Second National Assembly, the Executive Power and the Legislative Power. The Uitvoerend Bewind (Dutch for ''Executive Authority'') was the name of the government of the Batavian Republic between 1798 and 1801. The president of the Uitvoerend Bewind was head of state of the Batavian Republic. Unitarian Democrats The political group of unitarian democrats was dissatisfied with the slowness of the progress of the Dutch parliament, the National Assembly of the Batavian Republic. They were in favour of a central authority, opposed federalism, and wanted general elections.
