Socialist People's Party (Denmark)
The Green Left ( da, Socialistisk Folkeparti, SF) is a democratic socialist political party in Denmark. It was formerly known in English as the Socialist People's Party, the literal translation of its Danish name. History 1959–1969 The SF was founded on 15 February 1959 by Aksel Larsen, a former leader of the Communist Party of Denmark (DKP). Larsen was removed from the ranks of the DKP for his criticism over the Soviet intervention in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Larsen and the new SF sought to form a third way between Denmark's United States-oriented social democracy and Soviet Union–oriented communism, which sought to combine democracy with socialism. Union Party (Faroe Islands)
The Union Party ( fo, Sambandsflokkurin, also translated Unionist Party) is a conservative-liberal, agrarian political party on the Faroe Islands. The party wants to maintain the Faroe Islands' union with Denmark. On 24 October 2015 Bárður á Steig Nielsen succeeded Kaj Leo Johannesen as party leader. In the elections in 2008, the party won 21.0% of the popular vote and 7 out of 33 seats. After having been in the opposition for a short interval after the elections, the Union Party formed a new government in September 2008, and Kaj Leo Johannesen became prime minister. In the Danish parliamentary elections of 2007, the party received 23.5% of the Faroese vote, thereby gaining one of the two Faroese seats in the national legislature of Denmark. People's Party (Faroe Islands)
The Faroese People's Party – Radical Self-Government ( fo, Hin føroyski fólkaflokkurin – radikalt sjálvstýri) is a pro- Faroese independence conservative and conservative-liberal political party on the Faroe Islands led by Beinir Johannesen. One of the four major parties, it has had eight seats in the Løgting since the 2019 election, making it the joint-largest party, but it has neither of the Faroes' seats in the Folketing. Founded in 1939 as a split from the Self-Government Party and by former members of the Business Party (Vinnuflokkurin), the party has traditionally supported greater autonomy for the Faroe Islands. Social Democratic Party (Faroe Islands)
The Social Democratic Party ( fo, Javnaðarflokkurin, lit=Equality Party, JF) is a social-democratic political party on the Faroe Islands, led by Aksel V. Johannesen. History The Social Democratic Party was founded on 25 September 1925 by members of Faroese trade unions. Its youth organization '' Sosialistiskt Ungmannafelag'' (Socialist Youth) was founded in 1965. At the 2004 general election on 20 January 2004, the party received 21.8% of the popular vote and therefore won 7 out of 33 seats in the Løgting. At the 2008 general election on 19 January 2008, the party received 19.3% of the popular vote and therefore won 6 out of 33 seats. In the 2011 election for the Danish Folketing, the party improved its vote share to 21.0%, and took one of the two Faroese seats previously held by Republic. The elected representative of the Social Democratic Party in the Folketing is Sjúrður Skaale, who received 1539 personal votes.

Humanist Party (Denmark)
The Humanist Party ( da, Det Humanistiske Parti) was a political party in Denmark and is a member of the Humanist International. The party was established in 1987 and participated the general election held that year. The last time the party went for general elections in Denmark was 1993. At the beginning of the 2000s the party was headed by Christian Adamsen. It stood in the regional and municipal elections in Denmark 15 November 2005. The region covers 30% of the population, that is 1.6 million persons. Inside this region the Humanist Party is also present in the town of Copenhagen with 0.5 million inhabitants. Justice Party Of Denmark
The Justice Party ( da, Retsforbundet) of Denmark was founded in 1919 as an association and transformed into a political party in 1922. The party's platform is based upon the principles of U.S. economist Henry George - who advocated a single tax on all land - and those of Danish moral philosopher Severin Christensen. The party was elected to parliament for the first time in 1926, and they were moderately successful in the post-war period and managed to join a governing coalition with the Social Democrats and the Social Liberal Party from the years 1957–60. In 1960 they dropped out of the parliament. However in the 1973 Danish parliamentary election (the so-called ''Landslide Election'') the party won 5 seats in Folketinget, because of their opposition to Danish membership of the European Economic Community. De Grønne
The Greens (''De Grønne'') was a Danish green party. It was founded in October 1983. It first participated in the 1985 local elections. It was a founding member of the European Green Party. In 2008 the party was expelled from the EGP. The reason was that De Grønne intended to cooperate with the People's Movement against the EU in the upcoming elections which sits in the European United Left–Nordic Green Left parliamentary group instead of the European Greens–European Free Alliance-group. In 2014 the party discussed the own future with among the options dissolution of the party or changing it into a foundation. The party was dissolved in December 2014. Common Course ( da, Fælles Kurs) was a political party in Denmark, which held 4 seats in the Danish parliament from 1987–1988. History Common Course was officially founded in 1986, but it was built on several factions of the Communist Party of Denmark which were planning for the emergence of a new party as early as 1979. The party's leader was Preben Møller Hansen, writer, cook, and leader of the Danish Seamens' Union, who was expelled from the Communist Party of Denmark in 1979. The Christian Democrats (Danish: ''Kristendemokraterne'') (KD) are a political party in Denmark. The party was founded in April 1970 as the Christian People's Party (''Kristeligt Folkeparti'') to oppose the liberalization of restrictions on pornography and the legalization of abortion.
