The Mayor of Pescara is an elected politician who, along with the Pescara's City Council, is accountable for the strategic government of Pescara in Abruzzo, Italy. The current Mayor is Carlo Masci (Forza Italia (2013), FI) who took office on 10 June 2019. Overview According to the Italian Constitution, the Mayor of Pescara is member of the City Council. Pescara
Pescara (; nap, label= Abruzzese, Pescàrë; nap, label= Pescarese, Piscàrë) is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is the most populated city in Abruzzo, with 119,217 (2018) residents (and approximately 350,000 including the surrounding metropolitan area). Luciano D'Alfonso (born 13 December 1965) is an Italian politician. He was the mayor of Pescara from 2003 to 2009. He has served as the president of Abruzzo since 2014.
