The ''M Countdown'' Chart is a record chart on the South Korean Mnet television music program ''M Countdown''. Every week, the show awards the best-performing single on the chart in the country during its live broadcast. In 2017, 31 singles ranked number one on the chart and 23 music acts were awarded first-place trophies. Four songs collected trophies for three weeks and achieved a triple crown: " Fxxk It" by Big Bang, "Yes I Am" by Mamamoo, "Ko Ko Bop" by Exo, and "Energetic" by Wanna One. Exo (group)
Exo ( ko, 엑소; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean-Chinese boy band based in Seoul formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. NU'EST W was the second subunit of South Korean boy band, NU'EST. The group consisted of NU'EST members, JR, Aron, Baekho, and Ren, promoting in the absence of Minhyun, who at the time was promoting with Wanna One. The group disbanded on December 31, 2018, following the return of Minhyun. Hyukoh ( ko, 혁오) is a South Korean indie band signed to DooRooDooRoo Artist Company. The band was formed in May 2014 and consists of leader, singer, and guitarist Oh Hyuk, bassist Im Dong-geon, guitarist Lim Hyun-jae, and drummer Lee In-woo. AOA (; an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean girl group formed by FNC Entertainment.
