''A 20th Century Chocolate Cake'' is a Canadian comedy docufiction film, directed by Lois Siegel and released in 1983. The film stars Greg Van Riel and Charles Fisch Jr. as Greg and Charles, two young men in Montreal who are trying to find creative fulfillment in their professional lives. Greg pursues work as a freelance writer of human interest journalism, while the openly gay Charles takes a job as a dancer in a gay bar. Ron Vawter (December 9, 1948 – April 16, 1994) was an American actor and a founding member of the experimental theater company The Wooster Group. Vawter performed in most of the group's works until his death from a heart attack in 1994 at the age of 45. María Jesús Lampreave Pérez (11 December 1930 – 4 April 2016), known professionally as Chus Lampreave, was a Spanish character actress who starred in more than 70 films. She is internationally known for her roles in films by Pedro Almodóvar. Biography Lampreave was born in Madrid. She planned on being a painter and studied at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, after which she worked as an illustrator for the publishing firm. Helga Sophia Goetze (12 March 1922 – 29 January 2008) was a German artist, writer and free love activist. Her works included embroidery, paintings and poetry. Life Helga Goetze was born in 1922 in Magdeburg. She lived there until the beginning of World War II, when her family moved to Hamburg. She married in 1942 and subsequently had seven children.
