The KBO League (), officially the Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League, is the highest level league of baseball in South Korea. Yoo Hee-kwan
Yoo Hee-kwan (Hangul: 유희관, Hanja: 柳熙寬) (born June 1, 1986 in Seoul) is a South Korean starting pitcher for the Doosan Bears of the KBO League. He bats and throws left-handed. Professional career Yoo started his career with the Doosan Bears in 2009 and 2010, and played sporadically out of the bullpen. He then served in military duty for 2 years and played in the military's team, the Sangmu Baseball Team. Upon returning to Doosan in 2013, he emerged has a surprisingly dominant starting pitcher, earning 10 wins and a 3.53 ERA. He consolidated his position in 2014 and 2015, winning 12 and 18 games respectively. In 2015, his 18 wins were good for second in the league, behind the NC Dinos' Eric Hacker. Dustin David Nippert (born May 6, 1981) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball, and the Doosan Bears and KT Wiz of the KBO League. Nippert won the KBO League Most Valuable Player Award in 2016. Choi Dong-won (Hangul: 최동원, Hanja: 崔東原) (May 24, 1958 – September 14, 2011) was a South Korean pitcher in the KBO League who played for the Lotte Giants and Samsung Lions. Amateur career In 1975, Choi gained national attention at the Champions Invitational Tournament where he threw a complete game no-hitter against 1974 national champion Kyungbuk High School and took another no-hitter into the ninth inning in the team's next game before it was broken up by an infield single.
