Gaddafi Stadium
Gaddafi Stadium ( ur, , translit=Qaẕẕāfī Isṭeḍiyam), previously known as Lahore Stadium is a cricket stadium in Lahore, Pakistan and the home ground of Lahore Qalandars. It is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). With a capacity of 27,000, it is the fourth largest cricket stadium of Pakistan. Gaddafi Stadium was the first in Pakistan to be equipped with modern floodlights having their own standby power generators. The headquarters of the Pakistan Cricket Board are situated at Gaddafi Stadium, thus making it the home of the Pakistan national cricket team. It was designed by Russian-born Pakistan architect and civil engineer Nasreddin Murat-Khan, and constructed by Mian Abdul Khaliq and Company in 1959. Pervez Sajjad Hasan (Urdu: پرویز سجاد حسن; born 30 August 1942, Lahore, Punjab) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in 19 Tests from 1964 to 1973. Family He was one of seven brothers. One of his brothers was the Pakistan Test cricketer of the 1950s Waqar Hasan, and another was the film director and producer Iqbal Shehzad. His brother Waqar married Jamila Razaaq, the daughter of actress Sultana Razaaq, one of the earliest film actresses from India who acted both in silent movies and later in talkies. Jamila is also the granddaughter of India's first female film director, Fatima Begum and happens to be the great niece of Zubeida (the leading actress of India's first talkie film Alam Ara (1931)), who was the younger sister of her mother Sultana. Willie Watson (New Zealand Cricketer)
William Watson (born 31 August 1965) is a former New Zealand cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Watson played 15 Tests and 61 One Day Internationals for New Zealand between 1986 and 1994. Malcolm Marshall
Malcolm Denzil Marshall (18 April 1958 – 4 November 1999) was a Barbadian cricketer. Primarily a fast bowler, Marshall is widely regarded as one of the greatest and one of the most accomplished fast bowlers of the modern era in Test cricket. He was partly taught cricket by his grandfather, who helped to bring him up after his father's death. He played cricket for the Banks Brewery team from 1976. Norman George Cowans (born 17 April 1961) is a former cricketer who played in 19 Test matches and 23 One Day Internationals between 1982 and 1985 for the England cricket team. He played first-class cricket for Middlesex and Hampshire County Cricket Clubs. Neil Alan Foster (born 6 May 1962) is an English former professional cricketer, who played 29 Test matches and 48 One Day Internationals for England from 1983 to 1993. Abdul Qadir (cricketer)
Abdul Qadir Khan SI ( ur, , 15 September 1955 – 6 September 2019) was an international cricketer who bowled leg spin for Pakistan. Qadir is widely regarded as a legendary leg spinner from the 1970s and 1980s and was a role model for up and coming leg spinners. Later he was a commentator and Chief Selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board, from which he resigned due to differences of opinion with leading Pakistan cricket administrators. Kapil Dev Ramlal Nikhanj (Pronunciation: əpiːl deːʋ born 6 January 1959) is an Indian former cricketer. Dilip Rasiklal Doshi (born 22 December 1947) is a former Indian cricketer of Gujarati origin who played in 33 Test matches and 15 One Day Internationals from 1979 to 1983. Ray Bright
Raymond James Bright (born 13 July 1954) is a former Australian Test and One Day International cricketer from Victoria. He was a left arm spin bowler and lower order batsman who captained Victoria for a number of seasons. He was also an Australian vice-captain. Bright made his One Day International debut for Australia on the tour of New Zealand in the 1973/74 season.
