Utkala Kingdom was located in the northern and eastern portion of the modern-day Indian States and territories of India, state of Odisha.This kingdom was mentioned in the epic Mahabharata, with the names ''Utkala'', ''Utpala'', and ''Okkal''. Puri
Puri () is a coastal city and a Nagar Palika, municipality in the state of Odisha in eastern India. It is the district headquarters of Puri district and is situated on the Bay of Bengal, south of the state capital of Bhubaneswar. It is also known as ''Sri Jagannatha Dhama'' after the 12th-century Jagannath Temple (Puri), Jagannath Temple located in the city. It is one of the original Char Dham pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Balasore or Baleswara is a city in the state of Odisha, about north of the state capital Bhubaneswar and from Kolkata, in eastern India. Fakir Mohan University (FM University) is a state university located at Nuapadhi, Balasore, Odisha, India. It is named after Odia writer Fakir Mohan Senapati. Kendujhar District, is an administrative district of Odisha. The district is one of the fifth Scheduled Areas of Odisha. The town of Kendujhar (or Kendujhargarh) is the district headquarters. Dharanidhar University
Dharanidhar University, formally Dharanidhar Autonomous College, is a state public university in the district of Keonjhar in the Indian state of Odisha. The college was established in 1957 as ''Keonjhar Science College'' an intermediate science college and was granted affiliation by Utkal University. It was initially headed by R. Venkatraman, IAS.
