The Australia men's national soccer team represents Australia in international men's soccer. Officially nicknamed the Socceroos, the team is controlled by the governing body for soccer in Australia, Football Australia, which is affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the regional ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). Harry Kewell
Harry Kewell (born 22 September 1978) is an Australian association football coach, manager and former player. His most recent role as a club manager was at English National League side Barnet, and he is currently a first team coach at Celtic F.C. As a player, Kewell represented Leeds United, Liverpool, Galatasaray, Melbourne Victory, Al-Gharafa and Melbourne Heart. While at Leeds he was named the PFA Young Player of the Year in 2000. Gianni Ryan Stensness (born 7 February 1999) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for Norwegian Eliteserien club Viking FK. A former youth international for New Zealand, Stensness plays for the Australia national team. David Joel Williams (born 26 February 1988) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Perth Glory. Williams is the first Indigenous Australian player to play for A-League club Melbourne City. He also represented Australia's national team twice. Born in Brisbane, Williams played youth football at the Queensland Academy of Sport before making his professional debut for Queensland Roar. Kasey Wehrman
Kasey Wehrman (born 16 August 1977) is an Australian footballer. Wehrman has Indigenous Australian ancestry. Club career Born in Cloncurry, having impressed as a youth player with the Queensland Academy of Sport, Wehrman signed with National Soccer League club Brisbane Strikers, and was an integral member of their premiership team in 1996–97, where he was crowned the Under 21 Player of the Year. After four seasons with the Strikers, he transferred to Perth Glory in 1999, where he helped the club win the Minor Premiership in his first season. With two seasons in Perth, Wehrman sought a move overseas, and after successful trials in Norway, he signed with Moss. Allira Toby is an Australian soccer player, who currently plays for Canberra United in the W-League. Club career Junior football Toby grew up in Ipswich, Queensland and began her junior career with Ipswich City Bulls. At 16 she joined Annerley FC followed by Olympic FC. Adelaide United Toby was recruited to Adelaide United in the W-League for the 2015–16 season. She subsequently moved back to Queensland to play with the Roar. Bridgette Louise Starr is an Australian indigenous football player. A defender, Bridgette was first named in the Australian Women's soccer squad at 16 years of age. She first played for Australia at 18 years of age, in September 1994 in a one-off test match in Japan. Bridgette competed in the Oceania World Cup qualifiers in October 1994 in Papua New Guinea, and in the United States Women's Cup in the following month.
