The Cinema of India consists of motion pictures produced in India, which had a large effect on world cinema since the late 20th century. Major centers of film production across the country include Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack and Guwahati. Johnny Bakshi
Johnny Bakshi (2 January 1932 – 5 September 2020) was an Indian film director and producer. Career Bakshi is known for his contribution to the Indian film industry, mainly as a producer. He has produced several popular movies in Bollywood like the 1974 movie Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain, Vishwasghat which released in 1977, 1984's Raavan, Mera Dost Mera Dushman in 1984, Bhairavi in 1996 and Himesh Reshammiya starrer Kajraare in 2010. As a director, he released the 1994 movie ''Khudai'' starring Rajesh Khanna and the 1984 film '' Ravaan''. Ishan Arya
Ishan Arya (born Irshad Ahsan) was an Indian cinematographer, and producer, best known as producer and cinematographer of Art cinema classic ''Garm Hava'' (1973). After working in theatre and advertising, he made his debut with ''Garm Hava'' directed by M. S. Sathyu. Indra Kumar is an Indian film director and producer. He had five Filmfare nominations, has also appeared in number of Gujarati. Kumar's real name is Indra Irani. His latest film produced is Thank God (2022). Kumar debuted into direction as well as production with '' Dil'' (1990) and then directed the different concept-based drama films '' Beta'' (1992), ''Raja'' (1995) and ''Ishq'' (1997); all four being among the highest-grossing Hindi films of respective years and critically as well as commercially successful. Hemen Gupta was an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter in Hindi language films and Bengali language films. Early life Hemen Gupta was born on 21 March 1914, in Rajmahal, Jharhand, India. His father, Purnanand Gupta, worked in the State Treasury Office and for several years, was posted in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where Hemen spent his early childhood. His siblings were brothers Jogen, Biren, Rabin, Nripen and sister Amiya. Hemen grew up in a very large joint family, together with several uncles, aunts and cousins.
