American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. The offense must advance at least ten yards in four downs or plays; if they fail, they turn over the football to the defense, but if they succeed, they are given a new set of four downs to continue the drive. James Allen (running Back)
James Allen (born March 28, 1975) is a former American football running back in the National Football League. He played college football for Oklahoma. College career Allen attended the University of Oklahoma starting in 1993, and was a true freshman for the Sooners, such as rushing for 102 yards against the Texas Longhorns in a 38–17 victory. He would finish his freshman year with 788 yards rushing and one touchdown. The following year, Allen was stopped at the goal line in a loss to the Longhorns, and was later replaced by De'mond Parker in 1996, though Allen would score the game-winning touchdown that season against the Longhorns, giving the 3–8 Sooners the 30–27 win. Will Anderson Jr
William Anderson Jr. (born September 2, 2001) is an American football outside linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He has won several awards during his time with Alabama, including the Lombardi Award and the Bronko Nagurski Trophy twice. Early life and high school career Anderson was born on September 2, 2001, in Hampton, Georgia. He attended Dutchtown High School, where he recorded 22 sacks with 15 tackles for loss as a senior in 2019. Stephen Todd Anderson Jr. (born January 30, 1993) is an American football tight end for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at California and signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He has also played for the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Chargers. Mark Jay Anderson (born May 26, 1983) is a former American football defensive end. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alabama. Anderson also played for the Houston Texans, New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. Anderson is an uncle to Rodney Anderson, former Oklahoma Sooners and Cincinnati Bengals running back.
