San Juan Capistrano, California
San Juan Capistrano (Spanish for "St. John of Capistrano") is a city in Orange County, California, located along the Orange Coast. The population was 34,593 at the 2010 census. San Juan Capistrano was founded by the Spanish in 1776, when St. Junípero Serra established Mission San Juan Capistrano. Thousand Oaks is the second-largest city in Ventura County, California, United States. Calico, San Bernardino County, California
Calico is a ghost town and former mining town in San Bernardino County, California, United States. Located in the Calico Mountains of the Mojave Desert region of Southern California, it was founded in 1881 as a silver mining town, and was later converted into a county park named ''Calico Ghost Town''. Located off Interstate 15, it lies from Barstow and 3 miles from Yermo. Giant letters spelling ''CALICO'' are visible, from the highway, on the Calico Peaks behind it. Walter Knott purchased Calico in the 1950s, and architecturally restored all but the five remaining original buildings to look as they did in the 1880s. Chilcoot-Vinton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Plumas County, California, United States. The population was 454 at the 2010 census, up from 387 at the 2000 census. It consists of the communities of Chilcoot and Vinton Geography Chilcoot-Vinton is located at (39.800609, -120.144398). The Big "C" is a giant concrete block of the letter "C" built into Charter Hill in the Berkeley Hills overlooking the University of California, Berkeley.
