Silisili
Mount Silisili is the highest peak in Samoa and the Samoa Islands chain. It is located in the centre of a mountain chain running the length of Savai'i island. Mount Silisili rises to a height of 1,858 m. The word ''silisili'' means ''highest'' in reference to height, in the Samoan language. Savai'i is the largest shield volcano island in the South Pacific. Niulakita
Niulakita is the southernmost island of Tuvalu, and also the name of the only village on this island. Niulakita has a population of 34 (2017 Census). The residents of Niulakita have moved to the island from Niutao. Niulakita is represented in the Parliament of Tuvalu by the members of the constituency of Niutao. Geographical features Niulakita is a reef island. There are four ponds or lakes and the village has a maneapa (a community hall) in Tuvalu, which provides meeting and recreational functions as well. Kao (island)
Kao is an island and stratovolcano in the Haʻapai island group of Tonga. It lies about north of Tofua island and reaches above sea level, the highest point in Tonga. The date of its last eruption is unknown. Although Kao does not display fresh-looking lava flows, it is likely very recent in origin due to the absence of deep gullies or high sea cliffs. The slopes of the island rise at angles exceeding 35 degrees to the summit, which has a series of small volcanic craters. The last reported eruption was on July 10, 1847. The best access to Kao is by small boat on the south coast of the island, although heavy swell can make this treacherous and a skilled boat coxswain is required.
