This is a list of television films produced for the cable network Hallmark Channel from 2000 to 2015 including its early years corresponding to the 2000–2007 period. Such films are currently called Hallmark Channel Original Movies. Hallmark Channel: The early years The films listed between January 2000 and July 2001 were aired by the Hallmark Channel's predecessor, Odyssey Network. It was in the year 2000 that the uninterrupted stream of original holiday movies began. Both Hallmark Channel and Odyssey Network have been run by their parent company Crown Media. Hallmark Movie Channel, which launched in January 2004, showcased movies and miniseries for the next four years that already premiered on Hallmark Channel, ''Hallmark Hall of Fame'' and other third-party sources. The Hallmark Channel is an American television channel owned by Crown Media Holdings, Inc., which in turn is owned by Hallmark Cards, Inc. The channel's programming is primarily targeted at families, and features a mix of television movies and miniseries (mainly in the romance genre), original and acquired television series, and lifestyle programs. As of February 2015, Hallmark Channel was available to approximately 85,439,000 pay television households (73.4% of households with television) in the United States. Despite largely being an apolitical brand, Hallmark Channel has garnered a following among politically conservative viewers in suburban and rural areas who, according to Manhattan Institute for Policy Research's Steven Malanga in a ''Los Angeles Times'' op-ed, feel the network and its original programming feed their desire to "express traditional family values and also to steer away from political themes and stories that denigrate religion." Jeffrey Nordling
Jeffrey Richard Nordling (born March 11, 1962) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Jake Manning in ''Once and Again'', Larry Moss in '' 24'', Nick Bolen in ''Desperate Housewives'', and Gordon Klein in '' Big Little Lies'', as well as various films. Early life and education Nordling was born March 11, 1962, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, to Robert George Nordling and Lois Nordling ( ''née'' Dickson). He grew up in Washington Township. After moving to Saddle River, New Jersey, Nordling attended Ramsey High School, graduating in 1980. After high school, Nordling attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Lawrence "Larry" Peerce (born April 19, 1930) is an American film and TV director whose work includes the theatrical feature ''Goodbye, Columbus'' (1969), the early rock and roll concert film '' The Big T.N.T.
