Free public transport, often called fare-free public transit or zero-fare public transport, refers to public transport funded in full by means other than by collecting fares from passengers. It may be funded by national, regional or local government through taxation, or by commercial sponsorship by businesses. Premier Transport Group is an Australian operator of bus and coach services in New South Wales and Queensland. Its origins can be traced back to December 1987 when John King purchased Nowra Coaches. It has since expanded through a number of acquisitions. Premier Shoalhaven In December 1987, John King purchased Nowra Coaches from Bill Gill. Eddy Avenue
Eddy Avenue is a street in the Sydney central business district of New South Wales, Australia. It runs west from Elizabeth Street to Pitt Street outside Central station. Description Eddy Avenue runs in a north-westerly direction for 200 metres from Elizabeth Street to Pitt Street. To the north Belmore Park runs along its full length, while to the south is Central station. Three lanes of road traffic run in each direction. On its northern side it has a row of bus stops that are served by Transdev John Holland and Transit Systems services to the Eastern Suburbs. Public Transport Commission
The Public Transport Commission (PTC) was an agency of the Government of New South Wales responsible for the provision of rail, bus and ferry services in New South Wales, Australia from October 1972 until June 1980. Upon dissolution, responsibility for rail services transferred to the State Rail Authority and responsibility for bus and ferry services to the Urban Transit Authority.
