Association Football
Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposition by moving the ball beyond the goal line into a rectangular framed goal defended by the opposing side. Traditionally, the game has been played over two 45 minute halves, for a total match time of 90 minutes. With an estimated 250 million players active in over 200 countries, it is considered the world's most popular sport. Austevoll is a municipality and an archipelago in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Midthordland in Western Norway. The administrative centre is the village of Storebø on the island of Huftarøy. Aurskog-Høland is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the Romerike traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Bjørkelangen. The municipality of Rømskog, in Østfold county was merged into Aurskog-Høland on January 1, 2020. Drammen Fotballklubb was a Norway, Norwegian association football club from Drammen, founded in 2008. It last played in the 2016 3. divisjon. The club dissolved after the 2016 season. History The club was established on 23 August 2008 as a merger between Åskollen FK, founded 1992, and Drammen FK, founded 2005. Åskollen had experienced a series of promotions from the Seventh to the Third Division, and was the better team, with Drammen FK playing in the Sixth Division. However, as the club was aiming to become the second best team in the city of Drammen behind Strømsgodset IF, the name Drammen FK was chosen. As its home field, Drammen FK chose Strømsgodset's stadium Marienlyst stadion. Team colors were changed from yellow and black to blue. Asker Fotball
Asker Fotball is the football department of Norwegian sports club Asker SK from Asker. The women's football team is one of the most successful clubs ever in Norway, with 6 top flight championships and 5 cup championships. Due to financial difficulties at the end of 2008, the team's licence to play in the Toppserien was revoked; the team members then joined Stabæk IF's football group, Stabæk Fotball, which set up a new women's team. NFF gave Asker's place in the Toppserien to Stabæk Fotball. Asker's second team became Asker's first team, playing in the 2. divisjon, and they now have a recruiting arrangement with Stabæk Fotball. Arna-Bjørnar Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Arna, Bergen. It was founded in late 2000 as a merger between the football branches from ''IL Bjørnar'' and ''Arna T&IL'', and replaced Bjørnar IL in the league system from 2001. The women's team has played since then in the '' Toppserien'' apart from the 2005 season when it was in the First divisjon. Prominent members of the women's team (2009) are goalkeepers Reidun Seth and Erika Skarbø, and Nigerian keeper Precious Dede brought in to cover while Skarbø recovers from a long-term wrist injury.
