This is a list of football clubs created by the merging of two or more clubs. Belgian First Division A
The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. Seasons run from early August to late April, with teams playing 34 matches each in the regular season, and then entering Play-offs I (also known as the ''Championship Playoff'', ''title playoffs'' or ''Champions' play-offs'') or Play-offs II (also known as the ''Europa League playoff'' or ''Europe play-offs'') according to their position in the regular season. Enosis Neon Parekklisia Football Club ( el, Ένωση Νέων Παρεκκλησιάς) is a football club based in Parekklisia, Limassol, Cyprus and competes in Cypriot Second Division. History The club was founded in 2006 playing in black and yellow and is the theoretical continuation of AMEP Parekklisia and ATE-PEK Parekklisias. The team initially struggled in the fourth division but won promotion to the third division, winning the championship for the season 2009–10. AEK Kouklia FC
AE Kouklion ( el, Αθλητική Ένωση Κουκλιων) was a football team based in Kouklia of Paphos District. It was founded on 20 October 1968 and was dissolved on 9 June 2014, in order to be merged with AEP Paphos and create a new team, Pafos FC. History Soon after its foundation the club joined in POAS Paphos and participated in their respective amateur leagues. It has participated in the Second Division, Third Division and Fourth Division. For the first time in the team's history in the 2012–13 season, with Belgian Fangio Buyse as player/manager, the team was promoted to the Cypriot First Division. Pafos FC ( el, Πάφος FC) is a Cypriot football club based in Paphos. The club was created in 2014, by the merger of the two biggest teams of Paphos, AEP Paphos and AEK Kouklia. They play their home games at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium, and currently compete in the Cypriot First Division. History Pafos FC formed by a merger between the strongest football forces of the Province of Paphos. The Pafos FC Association represents Paphian football and sports throughout Cyprus through the football team and the Football Academy, which has hosts hundreds of young athletes. Evagoras Paphos
Athlitikos Syllogos Evagoras Paphos () was a Cypriot football club based in the city of Paphos. Founded in 1961, was playing sometimes in First and sometimes in the Second Division. It has adopted its name from Evagoras Pallikarides, who was a hero from Paphos who was hanged by British Colonists, as he was an EOKA guerrilla, fighting for the freedom of Cyprus. The club's badge was a green shield with the figure of Evagoras Pallikarides's as a face in a circle.
