Florida Gators Baseball
The Florida Gators baseball team represents the University of Florida in the sport of baseball. Florida competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They play their home games in Condron Ballpark on the university's Gainesville, Florida, campus, and are currently led by head coach Kevin O'Sullivan. In the 105-season history of the Florida baseball program, the team has won 15 SEC championships and has appeared in 12 College World Series tournaments. Rodney Lee Brewer (born February 24, 1966) is a former American college and professional baseball player who was a first baseman and outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB) from to . Brewer was born in Eustis, Florida. He attended Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida, and played for the Apopka Blue Darters high school baseball team. Brewer attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he played for coach Joe Arnold's Florida Gators baseball team from 1985 to 1987. Henry Boney
Henry Tate Boney (October 28, 1903 – June 12, 2002) was an American professional baseball player who was a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball during part of the 1927 season. Boney appeared in three games, all in relief, for the New York Giants. Boney was born in Wallace, North Carolina. He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he played for coach Lance Richbourg and coach Brady Cowell's Florida Gators baseball teams in 1926 and 1927. Boney made his major league debut as 23-year-old rookie against the Philadelphia Phillies at Baker Bowl on June 28, 1927. He made his third and final relief appearance on July 13. Boney finished all three games in which he appeared, and pitched a total of four innings, giving up just one earned run. Boney's record was 0–0 with a 2.25 earned run average. Ross Baumgarten (born May 27, 1955) is an American former professional baseball player who was a pitcher in Major League Baseball for five seasons in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Harrison Joseph Bader (born June 3, 1994), nicknamed "Tots," is an American professional baseball center fielder for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). Dennis Kay Aust (born November 25, 1940) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. Aust played in 15 games, all as a reliever, for the St. Louis Cardinals in and . He batted and threw right-handed, stood tall and weighed . A native of Tecumseh, Nebraska, Aust graduated from George D. Chamberlain High School in Tampa and attended the University of Florida. He was signed by the Cardinals in 1961 and spent five full years their farm system before a stellar 1965 season in the Double-A Texas League and Triple-A International League earned him a call-up to St. Louis.
