Susan Oki Mollway (born November 6, 1950) is a Senior United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii and the first East Asian woman ever appointed to a life-time position on the federal bench. Maui County, officially the County of Maui, is a county in the U.S. state of Hawaii. It consists of the islands of Maui, Lānai, Molokai (except for a portion of Molokai that comprises Kalawao County), Kahoolawe, and Molokini. The latter two are uninhabited. Jean Vaughan Gilbert (November 11, 1904 – December 2, 1975) was an American attorney, and the first woman to be appointed Honolulu City-County Attorney. She set a record at the University of Southern California Law for the highest academic scores at that date.
