''The Punch'' is a Nigerian daily newspaper founded On August 8, 1970. Punch Nigeria Limited was registered under the Companies Act of 1968 to engage in the business of publishing newspapers, magazines and other periodicals. Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji , (born 21 December 1967) is a Nigerian politician who has served as governor of Ekiti State since 2022. He is a former Secretary to the Ekiti State Government and a former Chief of Staff. He was elected governor during the 2022 Ekiti State gubernatorial election, having defeated Olusegun Oni of the Social Democratic Party and Bisi Kolawole of the People Democratic Party. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (born 5 February 1960) is a Nigerian politician, who has served as governor of Kwara State since 2019. He was previously the CEO of First Fuels Limited. Yahaya Adoza Bello (born 18 June 1975) is a Nigerian businessman and politician who has served as the Governor of Kogi State since 2016. A member of the All Progressives Congress, Bello has been the youngest governor in Nigeria throughout his term in office. Born in Okene, Bello studied accounting and business administration at Ahmadu Bello University before entering the workforce in the mid-2000s.
