Districts of Ethiopia, also called woredas ( am, ወረዳ; ''woreda''), are the third level of the administrative divisions of Ethiopia – after ''zones'' and the '' regional states''. These districts are further subdivided into a number of wards called ''kebele'' neighbourhood associations, which are the smallest unit of local government in Ethiopia. Raaso
Raaso is a city in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. Situated in the Afder Zone, it is the most populated city in the region. The population of the district of Raaso is estimated to be around 941,000. The district of Raaso is inhabited by Sheekhaal, to be specific, the Aw Qutub tribe. Raaso is situated along the Imi–Ginir road, some 40 kilometers north-west of West Imi (or Mirab Imi) village at a latitude and longitude of . The other towns around Raaso district are Buundada which is located on Shabeelle River, Dhaley and others. The area is characterised by thick, hilly bushland with seasonal rivers nearby that may carry water after rains, and where it is easy to dig shallow wells to get water available throughout the year. West Imi ( so, Iimeey Galbeed) is one of the Districts of Afder Zone in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. It is named for the historically significant village, Imi. Elekere (also transliterated El Kere) or Serer is one of the woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Afder Zone, Elekere is bordered on the southeast by Afder, on the southwest by Cherti, on the west by Goro Bekeksa, on the north by Mirab Imi, and on the east by Gode Zone. The major town in Elekere is El Kere. High points in this woredas include the peaks of the Audo Range, which runs from the northwest to the southeast parallel to the Shebelle River. Part of the Afder Zone, Bare is bordered on the south by the Provisional Administrative Line with Somalia, on the west by Dolobay, on the north by Afder, and on the east by the Gode Zone.
