The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney (), is an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios complex in Burbank, California. Disney was originally founded on October 16, 1923, by brothers Walt and Roy O. Disney as the Disney Brothers Studio; it also operated under the names the Walt Disney Studio and Walt Disney Productions before changing its name to the Walt Disney Company in 1986. Donald Duck Presents
''Donald Duck Presents'' is an American animated television series that aired on The Disney Channel beginning in 1983 and which featured Disney animated shorts. Although Donald Duck shorts were the primary programming, additional cartoons featuring Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Chip 'n Dale, Pluto, as well as Silly Symphonies, Disney featurettes, and other Disney-based shorts were shown. The show was first aired on September 1, 1983, a few months after The Disney Channel was launched. Its timeslot for its early run was at 8 a.m. Eastern/Pacific Time, making it the third program of The Disney Channel's 16 (later 18) hour programming day. Brief clips and segues featuring Donald Duck typically were placed between each short. ''Brand New Life'' is an American comedy-drama television series starring Barbara Eden and Don Murray and produced by Walt Disney Television and NBC Productions that aired on NBC as part of ''The Magical World of Disney'' during the 1989–90 television season. The series originally premiered as a two-hour television movie pilot entitled ''Brand New Life: The Honeymooners'' on September 18, 1989, as part of ''NBC Monday Night at the Movies'' and its ratings success led to the commissioning of a weekly series. ''Teen Angel'' is an American teen fantasy serial drama series that aired on The Disney Channel. Starring Jason Priestley, the series was first broadcast on ''The All-New Mickey Mouse Club'' (''MMC'') on April 24, 1989, and ended its run on May 22, 1989. Synopsis Priestley stars as a 1950s teenage guardian angel named Buzz Gunderson who was killed in a car wreck in 1959. Buzz was given various assignments and tasks he was to complete in order to get into heaven. ''Dumbo's Circus'' is a live action/puppet television series that aired on The Disney Channel beginning on May 6, 1985, and featured the character of ''Dumbo'' from the original film. ''Mousercise'' is the title of several Disney productions: * A 1982 exercise album for children released by Disneyland Records, featuring various Disney songs. * A TV series, inspired by the above album, that debuted on The Disney Channel on April 18, 1983, when the channel launched and was one of the channel's first programs.
