Protests occurred at several locations in the United States in reaction to the killing of Daunte Wright, an unarmed 20-year-old African-American man who was fatally shot by a police officer in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on April 11, 2021. A candlelight vigil or candlelit vigil is an outdoor assembly of people carrying candles, held after sunset in order to show support for a specific cause. Such events are typically held either to protest the suffering of some marginalized group of people, or in memory of the dead. In the latter case, the event is often called a candlelight memorial. A large candlelight vigil will usually have invited speakers with a public address system and may be covered by local or national media. Little Rock City Hall, the seat of municipal government of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, is located at 500 West Markham Street, in the city's downtown. It is a Renaissance Revival structure, designed by Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson and built in 1907. Its main facade has a projecting Roman portico, supported by fluted Ionic columns, with flanking sections that have Roman-style round-arch openings. KVOA
KVOA (channel 4) is a television station in Tucson, Arizona, United States, affiliated with NBC and owned by Allen Media Broadcasting. The station's studios are located on West Elm Street north of downtown Tucson, and its primary transmitter is located atop Mount Bigelow, northeast of the city, supplemented by translators in the Tucson Mountains and in Sierra Vista. KVOA-TV, originally associated with KVOA radio, went on the air in September 1953 as Tucson's second television station.
