The league consists of 30 teams, of which 29 are located in the United States and one in Canada. In the NBA, a head coach is the highest ranking coach of a coaching staff. Gregg Popovich has served as head coach of the San Antonio Spurs for 28 years. No other current NBA head coach has been head coach of his current team as long as Popovich has been head coach of the Spurs. Chris Finch (born November 6, 1969) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the current head coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Joseph Mazzulla (born June 30, 1988) is an American professional basketball coach who is the head coach for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for West Virginia University. High school career Mazzulla attended Bishop Hendricken High School in Rhode Island, where he made the all-state first team. He won three state titles at Bishop Hendricken, with his third as a senior on a last-second shot. Brian Keefe is an American professional basketball coach who is assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life Brian Keefe was born in Winchester, Massachusetts. As a high-school shooting guard, he was Winchester High School's all-time leading scorer, averaging 28 points a game, with his record of 1,163 points standing for 24 years before it was broken in 2018.
