''Blush'' () is a 1995 Chinese film about the experience of two women during China's campaign to re-educate prostitutes. ''Blush'' was directed by Li Shaohong and stars He Saifei, Wang Ji, and Wang Zhiwen. ''Red Cherry'' () is a 1995 film directed by Ye Ying (also known as Daying Ye). The Director of Photography was Zhang Li, a fifth generation filmmaker and classmate of Chen Kaige. ''Red Cherry'' won Best Picture at the 1996 Golden Rooster Awards. The film was made in China in 1995 under the title ''Hong ying tao'' starring Ke-Yu Guo, Vladmill Nizmiroff, Xu Xiaoling. The movie was based on the true story of Chuchu (based on Zhu De's daughter Zhu Min), a 13-year-old Chinese girl, and Luo Xiaoman, a 12-year-old Chinese boy, who were sent to Moscow, Russia in the 1940s and enrolled into an international boarding school. There they had so many great and difficult experiences as they tried to survive during World War II. Zhang Ming (, born June 1957) is a Chinese diplomat. Zhang was born in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. He graduated from the Faculty of Asian and African Languages of Beijing Foreign Studies University with a bachelor's degree. Zhang began his career in 1975 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1983. In 2001, he became Deputy Director-General of the General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2006, he became Ambassador to Kenya, Permanent Representative to UNEP and Permanent Representative to UN-Habitat. Xie Jin (; 21 November 1923 – 18 October 2008) was a Chinese film director. He rose to prominence in 1957, directing the film '' Woman Basketball Player No. 5'', and is considered one of the Third Generation directors of China. Most recently he was known for the direction of '' The Opium War''. Xie was a popular director amongst the older generations of Chinese, with six of his films being voted Best Picture in the Hundred Flowers Awards.
