CTrain is a light rail system in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It has been in operation since May 25, 1981. The system is operated by Calgary Transit, as part of the Calgary municipal government's transportation department. The CTrain system has two routes, with a combined route length of . The Red Line (also known as Route 201) is long and serves the southern and northwestern areas of the city. Tuscany Station
Tuscany station is a CTrain light rail station in Tuscany and Rocky Ridge, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is the northern terminus of the Northwest Line (Route 201), and opened as part of the route's the 2 km (1.24 miles) extension on August 23, 2014. Originally referred to in planning documents as Tuscany/Rocky Ridge station, Calgary Transit simplified the name on the recommendation of the Community Consultation Committee. The station, originally planned for completion after 2023, was approved and funded by Calgary City Council on November 7, 2007, for completion by 2011. The station had been included as part of Mayor Dave Bronconnier's re-election platform during the 2007 Municipal elections. McMahon Stadium
McMahon Stadium is a Canadian football stadium in Calgary, Alberta. The stadium is owned by the University of Calgary and operated by the McMahon Stadium Society. The stadium is between the downtown core and the University of Calgary, north of 16 Avenue NW between Crowchild Trail and University Drive. University station is a CTrain light rail station on the Northwest Line (Route 201) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, opened on September 7, 1987 as the part of the original line's terminus station until August 30, 1990. Brentwood station is a light rail station on the Red Line of the CTrain between Dalhousie and University stations.
