The following is a list of butterflies of Nepal. Six hundred and seventy-six species and thirty subspecies are listed. This list is primarily based on Colin Smith's 2006 ''Illustrated Checklist of Nepal's Butterflies'', with some recent additions and a modernized classification. Scientific and common names are also from that book (though corrections have been made when clear). The 27 endemic species or subspecies are marked.
