This is a partial list of bridges of Moscow, Russia, including existing rail, road and foot bridges over Moskva River, Moscow Canal, Vodootvodny Canal within the MKAD beltway limits and the bridges over Yauza River downstream from Rostokino. Listing conventions Bridge lists for each river are sorted in downstream order, with type and year of completion of ''existing'' bridge. Pairs of adjacent bridges serving the same highway or rail line are listed as single entries, with different completion years separated by commas. Demolished bridges are listed only when no replacements were built on old sites or nearby. Tram service is shown as of December 2006. Many other existing bridges had tram tracks in the past. Novospassky Bridge
Novospassky Bridge (russian: Новоспасский Мост, Novospasskiy Most) is a steel plate girder bridge that spans Moskva River, connecting Novospassky Monastery and Paveletsky rail terminal areas in Moscow, Russia (about 3 kilometers south-east from the Kremlin). It was built in 1911, as a triple-span steel arch bridge. Reconstruction in 2000 replaced arches with a simpler plate girder structure. Note that the memorial plaque on the bridge spells its name ''Ново-Спасский'', with dash, despite tradition and spelling rules. History Wooden bridges at the site of fortified Novospassky monastery existed since 16th century. The last wooden causeway was demolished in 1910. In 1911, the city built a triple-span arched bridge, similar to other pre-revolutionary Moscow bridges. Smolensky Metro Bridge (russian: Смоленский метромост, ''Metromost'') is a steel arch bridge that spans Moskva River in Dorogomilovo District of Moscow, Russia. It is the first bridge built for the Moscow Metro in 1935–1937, designed by N.P.Polikarpov, P.K.Antonov (structural engineering) and Yakovlev brothers (architectural design). It is one of two (the second one is Mitinsky Metro Bridge) bridges over Moskva River that are used exclusively by Metro (subway) trains, while the other Metro bridges combine road and rail. Novoarbatsky Bridge (russian: Новоарбатский мост) is a road bridge that crosses the Moskva river in Moscow. It is located between the Western (Kutuzovsky Prospekt) and Central Administrative Okrugs ( Novy Arbat). It is one of the first bridges in Russia with an all-welded steel-reinforced concrete span and a roadway slab pressed with high-strength reinforcement. Bagration Bridge
Bagration Bridge is a pedestrian bridge spanning the Moscow River in Moscow. It connects Tower 2000 to the main Moscow International Business Centre. The bridge was opened in September 1997 to celebrate Moscow's 850th anniversary of its founding. It is named after the Napoleonic wars time general Pyotr Bagration. Structure Bagration Bridge has a length of 214 metres and a width of 16 metres. It stands 14 metres above the river. Supporting pillars in reinforced concrete, bearing structure made of steel. Lower gallery realised in curved compact polycarbonate sheet, double wall and aluminium profiles. Upper gallery in double wall glass. Third Ring Road (Moscow)
The Third Ring Road, or The Third Ring, (russian: Тре́тье тра́нспортное кольцо́, or Тре́тье кольцо́, or ТТК; transliteration: ''Tretye Transportnoye Koltso'', or ''Tretye Koltso'', or ''TTK'') is a beltway around central Moscow, Russia, located between the Garden Ring in the city centre and the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). Route The Third Ring is 35 kilometers (km) in length, i. e. about 10 km in diameter. Lanes varies from three to five. As one of Moscow's main roads, the Third Ring Road suffers from heavy traffic congestion. There is a planned Fourth Ring between the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Ring. Filevsky Rail Bridge
The Filyovskaya line (russian: Филёвская ли́ния, ), or Line 4 and 4A, is a line of the Moscow Metro. Chronologically the sixth to open, it connects the major western districts of Dorogomilovo and Fili along with the Moscow-City with the city centre.
