Bradford Bulls
The Bradford Bulls are a professional rugby league club in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, playing in the Championship. They have won five Challenge Cups, six league championships and three World Club Challenges. The team jersey is predominantly white with red, amber and black chevrons. In 1907, Bradford F.C., founder member of the Rugby Football League, switched codes to association football and Bradford Northern, often abbreviated to Northern, was formed by members who wished to continue rugby. Bradford Northern were renamed Bradford Bulls in 1996, at the start of Super League. Bradford's main rivalries are with Leeds, Halifax and Huddersfield. The club entered administration in 2012, and again in 2014 and 2016. Several bids were made to take over the club but none were accepted by the administrators, and so on 3 January 2017 the club went into liquidation. Brandon Costin (born 23 June 1972) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He initially played under the name Brandon Pearson. He played for the Huddersfield Giants, Canberra Raiders, South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Bradford Bulls and the United States national rugby league team. Stanley Gene (born 11 May 1974) is a Papua New Guinean former rugby league Kumul (#166) player and professional Assistant Coach (Defence) of the Hull Kingston Rovers. He previously coached Gateshead Thunder and the academy team at Hull Kingston Rovers and served as the Papua New Guinea Kumuls head coach in 2010. Daniel Gartner (born 15 October 1972 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. His position was second row forward and he played in Australia with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. Gartner then played in England with the Bradford Bulls, winning championships with both clubs. He was also a representative player for Australia. Stuart Fielden (born 14 September 1979) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. He was formerly an assistant coach for the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League, and now is a Personal trainer of Fielden Fitness in Leeds.
