Dmitry Koptur
Dzmitry Uladzimiravich Koptur (also ''Dmitry Koptur'', be, Дзмітрый Уладзіміравіч Коптур; born September 6, 1978) is a Belarusian former swimmer, who specialized in long-distance freestyle events. He is a 2000 Olympian and a three-time Belarusian record holder in the 400, 800, and 1500 m freestyle. Koptur competed in three swimming events at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He cleared a FINA A-standard entry time of 15:27.86 (400 m freestyle) from the European Championships in Helsinki, Finland. On the first day of the Games, Koptur placed twenty-second in the 400 m freestyle. Swimming in heat four, he rounded out the field to last place by almost ten seconds behind winner Massimiliano Rosolino of Italy in 3:55.26. Four days later, Koptur teamed up with Pavel Lagoun, Igor Koleda, and Valeryan Khuroshvili in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. Authorised Neutral Athletes
Authorised Neutral Athlete (ANA) is a capacity under which athletes can compete at international sporting competitions without representing their nations, as is standard convention under the Olympic Charter. As of August 2022, only Russian and Belarusian athletes of some sports have competed or are competing within the ANA capacity. Originally introduced in athletics in 2017 following the Russian doping scandal which first came to light in December 2014, the term was introduced to other sports following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Quoting a breach of the Olympic Truce by the Russian government in which Belarus was complicit, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended banning all teams, officials and competitors from Russia and Belarus from being involved in sport, but where this was not possible, to allow individuals to compete in a neutral capacity. Ilya Syarheyevich Shymanovich ( be, Ілья Сяргеевіч Шымановіч; born 2 August 1994) is a Belarusian swimmer. He is the world record holder in the short course 100 metre breaststroke and a former world record holder in the short course 50 metre breaststroke. At the 2018 World Championships he won two silver medals, one each in the 100 metre breaststroke and the 50 metre breaststroke. He won two gold medals, one in the 50 metre breaststroke and one in the 200 metre breaststroke, and a silver medal, in the 100 metre breaststroke, at the 2021 European Short Course Championships.
