Ershad Sikder
Ershad Sikder (1955 – 10 May 2004) was a Bangladeshi criminal and serial killer, known for committing various crimes such as murder, torture, theft, robbery and others. He was sentenced to death for murder, and subsequently executed on 10 May 2004. A song by Abdus Sattar Mohantan, titled "I will be dead", has been popularized throughout the country as Sikder's song. Biography Early life Sikder was born in the Madargona village of Nalchity Upazila, Jhalokati District. His father was Bande Ali. Allama Delwar Hossain Sayeedi is a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar, former politician and lecturer, who served as a Member of Parliament representing the Pirojpur-1, Barisal, constituency during 1996–2006. He has been arrested in 2013, after which massive protests against the Bangladeshi government rapidly spread across Egypt, UK, Italy and other countries. The newly established International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh sentenced him to death in February 2013 for founding him guilty of eight out of twenty alleged charges regarding the Bangladesh Liberation War. Muhammad Kamaruzzaman
Muhammad Kamaruzzaman (4 July 1952 – 11 April 2015) was a Bangladeshi politician and journalist who served as the senior assistant secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and was convicted of war crimes during the 1971 Liberation war of Bangladesh. He was executed by hanging at Dhaka Central Jail at 22:01 on 11 April 2015. Besides his political career, Kamaruzzaman also was the editor of the ''Weekly Sonar Bangla''. Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury (13 March 1949 – 22 November 2015) was a Bangladeshi politician, minister and six-term member of Jatiya Sangsad and member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee, who served as the adviser of parliamentary affairs to Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in from 2001 to 2006. Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed ( bn, আলী আহসান মুহাম্মদ মুজাহিদ; 23 June 1948 – 22 November 2015) was a Bangladeshi politician who served as a Member of Parliament and as the Minister of Social Welfare from 2001 to 2007. Ghulam Azam ( bn, গোলাম আযম; 7 November 192223 October 2014) was a Bangladeshi Islamist politician. He was the former leader of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the largest Islamist political party in Bangladesh.
