Indonesian singer Isyana Sarasvati has received many awards. These include awards as a classical and a pop singer. She started her career through her debut single in 2014 entitled "Keep Being You" which won her the ''Best Male/Female R&B/Soul/Urban Solo Artist'' award at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2015. Her hit single "Tetap Dalam Jiwa" won her the ''Best of the Best Newcomer'' award in the same event. Sarasvati won an international award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards as ''Best Asian Artist Indonesia'' in 2016. The following year she won a trophy for the professional category, ''Composer of the Year'' and 2 awards in Anugerah Planet Muzik. In 2017 Sarasvati represented Indonesia at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the ''Best South East Asia Act'' category. Isyana Sarasvati (born 2 May 1993) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter. She is a graduate of Singapore's Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and London's Royal College of Music. Known for her original compositions, she wrote all of the songs on her 2015 debut pop album, Explore! and on her two subsequent albums, Paradox (2017) and Lexicon (2019). She has also performed as an opera singer in Singapore. She is the recipient of numerous Indonesian and international awards. Early life and education Isyana was born in Bandung on 2 May 1993. She spent part of her early childhood outside Indonesia because her parents worked and studied in Belgium. When she was seven, her family moved to Bandung, West Java. Deadsquad
Deadsquad is Indonesian death metal band formed in 2006 in Jakarta. The band was initially started as a project by guitarist Ricky Siahaan of Seringai and Stevie Item of Andra and The Backbone, but later developed into a full band. Career Early formation Deadsquad was formed in early 2006. Guitarists Stevie Item and Ricky Siahaan wanted to make a project band to fulfill their desire to play metal. Bassist Bonny Sidharta of the band Tengkorak and drummer Andyan Gorust, the former member of Siksakubur were invited to complete the formation. After Ricky Siahaan resigned in June 2006, Prisa Adinda of Zala was recruited to replace him. Shortly thereafter Babal was recruited to be a vocalist. They started to name the band Deadsquad around these times. In November 2007 Prisa Adinda left the band. "Il Sogno" (stylized as "IL SOGNO"; Italian for "The Dream") is a song by Indonesian singer Isyana Sarasvati. It was released under her own record label Redrose Records as a single on 6 March 2021. Written by Isyana herself, the song describes her dreams and her attempt to understand them. The recording was produced by Kenan Loui and combines progressive rock and classical music elements just like Sarasvati's songs since her third album ''Lexicon'' (2019). Writing and lyrics "Il Sogno" was written by Sarasvati and the song describes her dreams and her attempts to understand them. Isyana said that she is interested in dreams, so she wanted to write a song about her experiences and questions on her dreams. The title of "Il Sogno" is Italian for "dream" while its lyrics is mostly written in English, with several parts that are in Italian.
