The following is a list of amusement rides manufactured by the now-defunct Arrow Development and Arrow Dynamics. The company changed names and ownership four times between 1945 and 2002, operating as Arrow Development from 1945 to 1981, Arrow-Huss from 1981 to 1984, and as Arrow Dynamics from 1986 to 2001. The remaining assets were purchased by S&S on October 28, 2002. In November 2012, Sansei Yusoki Co. Ltd, acquired controlling interest in S&S and renamed itself S&S Sansei Technologies. Arrow Development
Arrow Development was an amusement park ride and roller coaster design and manufacturing company, incorporated in California on November 16, 1945, and based in Mountain View. It was founded by Angus "Andy" Anderson, Karl Bacon, William Hardiman and Edgar Morgan. Originally located at 243 Moffett Boulevard, it moved to a larger facility at 1555 Plymouth Street after Walt Disney Productions purchased one third of the business in 1960. Arrow also had offices at 820 Huff Avenue. By 1956, then secretary Bill Hardiman and Angus Anderson, then vice president,R. L. Polk U.S. Cities Directory for Mountain View, CA 1954 had sold their interests in Arrow to Wharton graduate Walter Schulze, who then became Arrow's secretary-treasurer and vice president. Schulze and his wife had provided accounting services for several small companies in the Bay Area, including Duro-Bond Bearing, which is where he likely heard of Arrow. Rides are interspersed throughout these sections. Areas and attractions Roller coasters , Six Flags Over Texas features 14 operating roller coasters. Star Mall The area serves as the entry gate for Six Flags Over Texas. It was one of the original sections of the park when it opened in 1961. It is named for the large star-shaped fountain located in the section. Mexico and Spain The Mexico & Spain area consists of two sections both of which were originally part of the park in 1961. Both sections represent a flag that has flown over the state of Texas. Texas The Texas section of the park was another original section when the park opened in 1961.
