Julio Saraceni
Julio Saraceni (October 10, 1912 – October 12, 1998) was a prolific Argentine film director whose career in the Cinema of Argentina as a movie director spanned six decades. He was an aviator as a young man, but later found a career in film, where he debuted as a director in a 1937 short film, ''Fórmula secreta'', in which he used his flying experience for the making of numerous scenes. He directed his first full-length title, Florencio Parravicini's comedy vehicle, ''Noches de carnaval'', later that year. Saraceni married a member of the crew, Argentina Mori, and with her made some 60 films between 1938 and 1986, such as ''María Celeste'' (1944), '' Alma de bohemio'' (1949), ''La barra de la esquina'' (1950), and ''La mejor del colegio'' (1953). Adolfo Aristarain (born October 19, 1943) is an Argentina, Argentine film director and screenwriter who is famous for his filmic sophistication and subtle examination of issues of political oppression. ''Variety (magazine), Variety'' has deemed him "a master filmmaker." Biography Aristarain was born in Buenos Aires. After leaving Argentina, he started working as assistant director in the Arcente cinema, and then in Europe during his short exile for Mario Camus, Giorgio Stegani and Lewis Gilbert before returning to Argentina in 1974, following the death of Argentine president Juan Perón. His first 3 films did not receive favorable reviews, but in 1981 ''Tiempo de revancha'' received both critical acclaim and public success. Fernando Ayala
Fernando Ayala (2 July 1920 – 11 September 1997) was an Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer of the classic era. He is widely considered one of the most important Argentine film directors and producers in the history of the cinema of Argentina. Ayala initially began as a trainee assistant director in 1942, in '' El Viaje'', and within two years he had become an assistant director. By 1949 he had obtained his first job as director, and from 1958 he also served as producer for the films he directed and some others. Between 1950 and 1987 he was involved in the direction and production of well over 40 films, such as '' Ayer fue primavera'' in 1955 and ''Argentinísima'' and '' Argentinísima II'' in 1972 and 1973 respectively. In 1963 he was a member of the jury at the 13th Berlin International Film Festival. Enrique Carreras (6 January 1925 – 29 August 1995) was a Peruvian-born Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer, and was one of the most prolific film directors in the history of the Cinema of Argentina. Born in Lima, Peru, Carreras directed nearly 100 films in his 40-year career between 1951 and 1991. His 1964 film ''The Escaped'' was seen at the 14th Berlin International Film Festival.
